Nook ActionJac Worm Gear Screw Jacks are mechanical actuators that utilize a bronze worm gear with a screw. Nook offers a complete line of standard and custom engineered ball screw and machine screw actuators for applications from 1/4 ton up to 100 tons. Standard configurations including upright or inverted units with translating or rotating lifting screws. Top plate, threaded, or clevis ends are available for meeting specific application needs. Actuators can be used individually or in mutliple jack arrangements for a larger mechanical system.
	INCH BALL AND MACHINE SCREW JACKS
	Load capacities range from 1/4 to 100 ton Worm gear driven, incorporates an alloy steel worm which drives a high strength bronze worm gear (drive sleeve). Worm shaft is supported on anti-friction tapered roller bearings. Drive sleeve is supported on antifriction tapered roller or ball thrust bearings. Jack housing is made of ductile iron (MJ models, 1/2 BSJ and 1/2 HL-BSJ have aluminum housings, aluminum optional on 1 ton models)

	BALL AND MACHINE SCREW SERVO-JACK™
	A Servo-Jack™ is an ActionJac Ball Screw and Machine Screw Jack with Servomotors for greater control of acceleration, de-acceleration, travel rate and positioning accuracy than NEMA framed motors. Designed to accommodate any specified coupling and motor, a Servo-Jack™ can be delivered as a complete assembly. Attach a Servo Motor to an ActionJac Screw Jack Custom Motor Adaptors available Ask to speak to an Application Engineer for support with your application.

	METRIC BALL AND TRAPEZOIDAl SCREW JACKS
	Load capacities range from 5 to 200kN Worm gear driven, incorporates an alloy steel worm which drives a high strength bronze worm gear (drive sleeve). Worm shaft is supported on anti-friction tapered roller bearings. Drive sleeve is supported on antifriction tapered roller or ball thrust bearings. Jack housing is made of ductile iron

	STAINLESS STEEL SCREW JACKS
	Load capacities range from 1,300 to 23,000 pounds. For increased capacity, a 17- 4PH hardened worm is available. All external components are manufactured from 316 Stainless Steel materials Stainless steel worm with a high strength bronze drivesleeve.
