Expanded Line of Product-Specific Lubricants Can Extend Life of Nook Systems

Nook Industries, a leading manufacturer of linear motion control systems and components, today announced the expansion of its line of linear motion lubricants to include two new application-specific lubricants: E-900 Ball Screw Lubricants and LBL-1 Linear Bearing Lubricants. Both of these application-specific lubricants provide exceptional wear protection, reduce friction, and resist corrosion.

"Different types of mechanisms that are used in varying applications require lubricants with specialized protective qualities," says Rick Christyson, Nook Industries' Chief Engineer. "At Nook, we're committed to providing our customers with not only the highest quality linear motion systems but also the accessory products like lubricants that help our customers get the most out of their investment in Nook technology."

The new E-900 lubricant, which is available in 12-ounce spray-cans or 32-ounce bottles, extends the operational life of ball screw assemblies, ball bearing splines, and other rolling element products. E-900 effectively reduces starting torque characteristics and inter-ball friction between -65 and 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

The new LBL-1 lubricant is synthetic and improves linear bearing performance by reducing friction and inhibiting corrosion. Odorless, non-toxic, and water-resistant, LBL-1, which is available in four-ounce bottles, provides protective lubrication between -45 and 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
